EAGLE MTN SLATE

Eagle Mountain Slate is a very gorgeous natural slate stone characterized by it's stunning complimentary earth-tone and blue slate color combination. Eagle Mountain Slate's unique and beautiful natural color pallet coordinates naturally and effortlessly with endless natural and man-made landscape products helping to make Eagle Mountain Slate a favorite throughout the Pacific Northwest. And, unlike other slate products, the rust and earthtone colors seem to be baked into the stone rather than being simply a rusty film on the outer layer of the stone, considerably reducing the possibility of 'bleeding' into mortar in finished projects.

As with all natural stone quarries, nature definitely dictates the actual shapes, sizes and colors of the products that are produced at the quarry, at least to great extent. However, Eagle Mtn Slate Flagstone and Stepping Stone (patio) typically run larger than other flagstone products available and the wonderful color combination of all of the Eagle Mountain Slate products produced at Eagle Mtn Quarry has been a consistent beautiful earthtone and blue slate mixture.

EAGLE MOUNTAIN SLATE

Eagle Mountain Slate is a gorgeous premier natural slate produced exclusively by Blue Slate, Inc. in the beautiful mountains of northeastern Washington State. The slate products produced at Eagle Mtn Quarry include flagstone, stepping stone (patio), building stone, Eagle Mtn slabs and specialty slate such as unique slate pieces used for fireplace mantels or ordered by specific dimensions for special or unique projects.

Most of the Eagle Mtn Slate stone landscape projects featured in the video above were designed and installed by Blue Slate, Inc. owner, Jesse Schacher.

He used a variety of Eagle Mountain Slate products in combination with Blue Heron Column products for personal landscape projects and family projects.....such as the beautiful 'mother-in-law' pond!

Other projects featured were designed and installed by family members.....such as the gorgeous countertop designed and installed by his sister, Janie, at her home in Lewiston, Idaho and the serene slate walkway and pond retreat installed by his brother, Jerry, at his mother's home in Lewiston.

Characteristically the edges of the Eagle Mountain Slate products are crisp and blocky rather than tapered, reducing waste and extra handling at the job site.....a mason's dream! Eagle Mountain Slate products are also packaged with quality and value in mind. For instance, the pallets of slate products are put together with as many quality and usuable larger slate pieces included in each pallet as is possible, using only minimal smaller stones for fillers when necessary to fill in spaces to stabilize the pallets. The finished pallets of slate products usually weigh approximately 4,000 lbs or 2 tons each.....give or take.
